I have read about various tactics that men use on women to try to hook up with a hot woman. They are advised to be a challenge, use disconnectors (like cutting them off on purpose, saying they have to go, saying they don't want to do something, saying they are bored or forgot to call, for exs.) to get a woman's attention, This is necessary because beautiful women are spoiled brats with low frustration tolerance (an actual Psychology term). All in all, when it comes time for someone to really find a mate, they'll get sick of the head games, and the ';play books'; and they'll get serious. Most of these men and women who claim they enjoy the chase get burnt out with it like everyone else. It's not to cool when you go to wash your face in the morning and see a 40 yr old single, with no kids, living at home alone still eating T.V. dinners reflection starting back at you. Everybody wants' someone in their lives, and we all want to be wanted by someone. It's human nature. It's just that many people live an empty life for years before they come to the realization that all those games they played with many hearts (both men and women) only got them nothing but an empty house and a trail of tears (some theirs, and some of the people they鈥檝e hurt).
All of my relationships have pretty much started out this way. They played these head games with me. In all cases the men became more demanding and controlling. I never had the need to read such books for real advice. For someone whos a natural, books arent needed. Yes some of this game playing does give results, but the depth or longevity of such relationships that needed games to be played are debatable.
It works on a certain type of women. I don't know exactly what that type is, but I know it's not me. I have a guy friend who treats women like that and he's never without female company. I don't respond to men who act like that, but maybe it's because I know what to expect from them because of how I've seen my friend act.

If you research the specific diseases - even using the cdc.gov websites, you will see that many of the vaccines we recieve are simply not necessary. Beyond the sexually transmitted diseases, some are very mild (measles, mumps, chicken pox) and some have been eradicated (polio).
Additionally, there are many harmful agents in vaccines - formaldyhyde, aluminum, cells from aborted fetuses.
No one can tell you whether or not to vaccinate, that is your call. But you must do your research! Don't just blindly stick a needle in your little ones without knowing what you are vaccinating for, the contraindications (some vaccines are contraindicated for those w/ eczema, asthma, egg or latex allergies, for example), and the potential side effects... there are lots of side effects, from fevers, crying, seizures, even death.

I think that there are great benefits to children going to the chiropractor. It doesnt stunt their growth from what i have seen. When the baby was little, it helped taking him to the chiroprator becuase they showed me techniques to help soothe him when he was irritable and it really helped.
I would have to say though as a parent I would be skeptical if someone were to tell me what i SHOULD do. I would say talk it over with your pediatrician.

Also by not immunizing your child you are relying on other people to be immunized themselves so as not to spread the disease to your child. There is also some evidence to link the HIV epidemic in Africa with tainted polio immunizations. It comes down to this question...Are you willing to take the risks vs benefit ratio. And if you are not are you willing to depend on others to vaccinate their children so yours won't get sick?

My nephew, after graduating from highschool two years ago, joined the armed forces (army) immediately...incredibliy intelligent, with three languages, fluent..behind him..he made a high paygrade and was trained in intelligence..THEN...he did the ultimate stupid thing......he was caught with drugs, marijauna..and driving..with friends..off duty....on leave..and boom..they busted him...gave him general honorable discharge.. I am trying desperately to get him back in the military...He made a big error..has paid a great price..has learned from this....CAn anyone suggest..perhaps....who I contact to try and re-instate him? Yes, i thought of writing a congressional...andt hought of going to the military..headquarters..directly..wheree鈥?that is..but....WHO knows how to cut through red tape and contact the correct governing body....in order to help this young man. You can start with your congressman and/or senator. If they are on the armed services committee, then they may be able to do something for him.
I can tell that you have a lot of admiration and faith in this former soldier. Unfortunately for you, the army is very strick on drugs and DWIs. They are career killers and every soldier knows this through periodic training and examples of other soldiers getting caught. It is a mistake that I am sure he has learned from, but it is not something the Army usually gives you a second chance on. Drugs and DWI are one strike and you are out.
Again, I know that you have a lot of faith and admiration for your nephew, but a congressman or senator would be putting a lot on the line to stand up for him. Nothing hurts by trying, but I would not be too optimistic.

as an ARMY recruiter i can tell you that he most likely has an RE CODE 4. if thats the case or he has a seperation code that is equally as bad. then you can write letters to whomever you want but it wont change a thing. your nephew knew at the time he was doing the drugs that it was wrong but decided to roll the dice anyway. this is exactly the type of person that i DONT want in my ARMY. and it is mine!

In general, a Congressional Inquiry will be a waste of time because the Congressman will be informed that the discharge was properly awarded in accordance with US laws and Army regulations.
now was it general,honorable, or general with honorable conditions?....because a general honorable doesnt exist....and quite frankly on leave or not most times they give a dishonorable when drugs are involved, hes lucky to have gotten a discharge that allows him the ability to get a civilian job.....he should cut his losses grow up and move on. you can write letters to your congressman etc but i seriously doubt they will reinstate him sorry to say.

Do you really mean that he broke regulations, should have known better, but shouldn't have to pay the consequences? With the training you indicate, he should not only get kicked out, but pay back for the training he underwent.
Examples of poor judgment: get drunk, drive a car, hit and kill someone, face judgment and hope a relative thinks you are better than than and writes to say everything is unfair.
My friend bought a BRAND NEW truck while stationed at Fort Hood. He gave a ride to his buddy to pick up a pound of Maryjane. Texas State police bust them, and as state by law, Texas confiscated his brand new, haven't made my first payment truck, which he still has to pay off. Poor judgment.

If you research the specific diseases - even using the cdc.gov websites, you will see that many of the vaccines we recieve are simply not necessary. Beyond the sexually transmitted diseases, some are very mild (measles, mumps, chicken pox) and some have been eradicated (polio).
Additionally, there are many harmful agents in vaccines - formaldyhyde, aluminum, cells from aborted fetuses.
No one can tell you whether or not to vaccinate, that is your call. But you must do your research! Don't just blindly stick a needle in your little ones without knowing what you are vaccinating for, the contraindications (some vaccines are contraindicated for those w/ eczema, asthma, egg or latex allergies, for example), and the potential side effects... there are lots of side effects, from fevers, crying, seizures, even death.

I have three children- all of whom have been immunized. I not only think that they should be immunized, but i suggest it highly, especially if they plan on going to public schools. I think that there are great benefits to children going to the chiropractor. It doesnt stunt their growth from what i have seen. When the baby was little, it helped taking him to the chiroprator becuase they showed me techniques to help soothe him when he was irritable and it really helped.

Also by not immunizing your child you are relying on other people to be immunized themselves so as not to spread the disease to your child. There is also some evidence to link the HIV epidemic in Africa with tainted polio immunizations. It comes down to this question...Are you willing to take the risks vs benefit ratio. And if you are not are you willing to depend on others to vaccinate their children so yours won't get sick?

My nephew, after graduating from highschool two years ago, joined the armed forces (army) immediately...incredibliy intelligent, with three languages, fluent..behind him..he made a high paygrade and was trained in intelligence..THEN...he did the ultimate stupid thing......he was caught with drugs, marijauna..and driving..with friends..off duty....on leave..and boom..they busted him...gave him general honorable discharge.. I am trying desperately to get him back in the military...He made a big error..has paid a great price..has learned from this....CAn anyone suggest..perhaps....who I contact to try and re-instate him? You can start with your congressman and/or senator. If they are on the armed services committee, then they may be able to do something for him.
I can tell that you have a lot of admiration and faith in this former soldier. Unfortunately for you, the army is very strick on drugs and DWIs. They are career killers and every soldier knows this through periodic training and examples of other soldiers getting caught. It is a mistake that I am sure he has learned from, but it is not something the Army usually gives you a second chance on. Drugs and DWI are one strike and you are out.
Again, I know that you have a lot of faith and admiration for your nephew, but a congressman or senator would be putting a lot on the line to stand up for him. Nothing hurts by trying, but I would not be too optimistic.

as an ARMY recruiter i can tell you that he most likely has an RE CODE 4. if thats the case or he has a seperation code that is equally as bad. then you can write letters to whomever you want but it wont change a thing. your nephew knew at the time he was doing the drugs that it was wrong but decided to roll the dice anyway. this is exactly the type of person that i DONT want in my ARMY. and it is mine!

This is something that is _very_ rare for this kind of situation because the discharge code was given as a punishment for misconduct.
In general, a Congressional Inquiry will be a waste of time because the Congressman will be informed that the discharge was properly awarded in accordance with US laws and Army regulations.
now was it general,honorable, or general with honorable conditions?....because a general honorable doesnt exist....and quite frankly on leave or not most times they give a dishonorable when drugs are involved, hes lucky to have gotten a discharge that allows him the ability to get a civilian job.....he should cut his losses grow up and move on. you can write letters to your congressman etc but i seriously doubt they will reinstate him sorry to say.

please help. last yr I was assaulted by a neighbur I made a complaint to the gardai %26amp; decided to press charges but when she had to make her statment she claimed it was me who assaulted me. but she has no leg to stand on as i was the one injured %26amp; it happened at my front door. the courts decided that there was enough evidence to press charges against her but as she claims i done her they are also bringing me to court. im not too worried about that as theres no evidence i assaulted her. I would move first. I live in the US and we have restraining orders. I don't know about Ireland but would love to go some day. I hope this works out for you. It sounds bad all around. I've been dating this guy for a month and things have been pretty good between us, I really can't complain about anything. Anyway last week he told me about a houseparty that he was going to and he asked me if I wanted to come with, which of course I said yes lol. Anyway he also mentioned that one of his coworkers was going on vacations and that they were going to throw her a going away party at a club. I knew I couldnt go because its 21 plus and I am 20 : ( . The houseparty was friday and the club was on Saturday. He ended up texting me friday saying that he had messed up the dates and he never replied back to my last text message so I didnt see him friday, then on saturday I sent him a message to see what's up and he never texted me back until yesterday. I was pretty pissed off. I felt like he left me hanging and didnt even bother to reply back. He could of at least just say that this weekend wasnt going to work and that he will see me some other time right? He called and I ignored his call, he sent me 3 text messages and asked if I was mad and then he said that he was sorry. I've decided I am not going to text him today and I am going to wait until he does but even if he does I am not going to reply back or anything. That way he will know that I am not going to be putting up with that shi* and if he really wants to be with me, he's going to at least try to talk to me again. If he doesnt text me or call I wont either. I think I already came to the conclusion that he fucke* it up and things at this point wont be the same. Time to grow up and be an adult and just tell her like it is. Start looking for a place for you, the bf, and the baby to live because she will most likely kick you out. If you are younger then 18 then you might need to talk to a relative about staying with them for a while.

Ok, you will need to tell her at some point. If I were you, and I'm not, but I would wait until I was 12 weeks so they wouldn't try to force me to have an abortion (since you said you definately don't want one). Eat right in the mean time and take your vitamins (a lot of doctors won't see you until week 12 anyway, and they just tell you the same - take your vitamins and see you then. At that point sit down with the boyfriend and parents and say this has happened and just let it take it's course. If you do it in a mature way, you may score some points with your parents. Be prepared though. They will be MAD. You are after all, only 15.

Remember that this isn't only hard on you two, but it will be hard for both of your parents. They, I hope, care about you guys and will come around and support you. If your mom kicks you out there are places that you can go to get help especially if you're in a big city. There is a place (can't remember where) called Mercy Ministries that takes in young mothers or I'm sure would be able to locate a place near you if you ever needed help. They don't charge you anything except to help out around the house. I know someone that went there and it changed their life forever. One more thing, please try as hard as you can to stay in school. I know it will be hard, but it's important for your future. If I were you, and I'm not, but I would wait until I was 12 weeks so they wouldn't try to force me to have an abortion (since you said you definately don't want one). Ok so this may seem like it is out of a lifetime movie. My uncle dies July 2nd of this year they say he commited suicide by shooting himself in the head. My uncle was seperated from his wife for 3 years. She did not want anything to do with him at all My uncle came to Florida and vacationed for 6 days he was not depressed only stating that he didnt care if it took him two months or two years he was going to divorce his wife and move from where he was at. He went home on the 1st and on the second he was dead. His wife text messaged him calling him names blah blah finally he told her to f off.he calls me and said he felt really good about what he had done he finally stood up to her and he was proud that was at 5 by 9 the police says he was dead. Now here is the thing his wife text messaged him and he was responding at 700pm she left off the mountain they live in a very rural area of NC she said she came home at 9 text messaged him at 9:01 pm he did not respond she went to sleep.the next morning she called her friend the deputy on his cell phone whom she is said to be having an affair with and said go check on Jon he did and he found him dead. Now she didnt hear form him and never sen another text and they were not on speaking terms why would you do that? we went to the funeral and she would not look any of his family in the eyes it was a funeral over the top a police escort (same cop) she played it up and it seemed like it was so staged they have 3 girls who were his life he would never leave them like that i watched her and the only time she cried was when people came up to her they walked away and she smiled. we have no closure we had no role in his funeral no police reports nothing and she is getting 1.5 million dollars. Next year i'm going to be in my highschool's jazz band. I'm planning take over the bassist that just graduated this year and need to get alot better this year.

-I know how to read bass clef.
-I can figure where the notes or on the neck, but it takes awhile
especially with high notes like D E F on the G string
-I am not to hot with rhythm as far as i can go i can last through a walking bass line but thats pretty much it.
What i want to do is get better over this summer especially with getting to notes faster and reading my rhythms better.
Any advice like free online websites or a recommended book?

Oh, how I wish I had a limit....its like someone winds me up and I just go on and on and on, ad nauseaum....Blaa..blaa...blaa... For most thingsI do have a limit on advice. I usually can give it three times for the same situation. If they do not follow, it is obvious they do not want to. Then, I wait to be asked. If things are extremely serious I will try harder. In the end it is up to them. Sometimes when you keep insisting, you only make them go away from you. And if it is an important person in your life, you should try to stay near in case they need your help instead of advice.
We all have our limits but many don't respect or recognize them.

Although we advise, we must also leave everyone free to make their own decisions. We should not limit their outlook, in fact, people should be encouraged to consider their question from all perspectives. The answerer too might learn from reading other people's advice as there are more ways than one to look at a situation.
Do I have a limit on advice? Only in so far as how capable I am to advise in the one day and depending of course on other commitments and responsibilities. After all we're only human and we have to respect our own limitations.
