Please advice or Please advise...Which is the correct grammer usage?

To be used when you need input from someone. Does one say Please advice or Please advise.

I'm pretty sure it's advise but wanted to double check before I correct someone.Please advice or Please advise...Which is the correct grammer usage?
It is advise.

[In your topic you spelled 'grammar' incorrectly.]Please advice or Please advise...Which is the correct grammer usage?
adviSe
I am pretty much 99% sure it's ';please advise.'; pretty sure... advise is a verb and advice is a noun. yep.
';Please advise'; is the correct usage.
Please advise.
It's advise..

You are asking for our advice, and we are advising you of the correct usage...
Definately advise. Your asking someone directl for advice.
Advice is a noun; advise is a verb.
Both depending how you use it. Please advise her of her rights. I would like your advice on this matter please.
you are correct.... you have to use advise

The use of advise in the sense of “inform, notify” was found acceptable by a majority of the Usage Panel in an earlier survey, but many members would prefer that this usage be restricted to business correspondence and legal contexts. Thus one may say The suspects were advised of their rights, but it would be considered pretentious to say You'd better advise your friends that the date of the picnic has been changed.

';Please advise me'; or ';Please advice me'; - Which one is correct?

Some people are using ';advice';. Is it correct?';Please advise me'; or ';Please advice me'; - Which one is correct?
advise

v. counsel, offer guidance; notify, inform

advice

n. counsel, guidance; information; official notification

';Pls advise (v) me'; is correct one.

';I need your advice(n)'; is correct.';Please advise me'; or ';Please advice me'; - Which one is correct?
';Please advise me'; is correct.

Advice is a noun; it's what you get. Advise is a verb, which is what you do when you give advice.

You may also have noticed there are a lot of spelling mistakes, typos, and slang spellings around here.
Please advise me by giving me advice.

Advise is a verb.

Advice is a noun.
please advise me... as in ';Please advise me of a better English teacher I can study under in the future.';
Advise is a verb, Advice is a noun. Correct usage would be:

Please advise me.

or

Please give me advice.

When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?

When asking my boss to advice on something which sentence is right from the above?When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?
Advice is the noun and advise is the verb.

Kindly advise me when the widgets will be in stock.

He gave kind advice, when he recommended I buy my ticket online. It was much cheaper.When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?
Advice is a noun and Advise is a verb.

When you ask your boss for something to suggest a line of action to be taken by you, you may say 'Kindly advise' since advise is the action that you expect from the boss, which is that he should tell you something.

If you want to use advice, then you have to change the sentence to 'Kindly give me (or let me have) your advice'. Here you are asking for the content of what you expect from him, and so it should be the noun form that is to be used.
The correct form is ';kindly advise.';

Why?

Because ';advise'; is a verb, and ';advice'; is a noun. You cannot ';foot'; someone, you can kick them. It's the same concept.

Also, ';advise'; and ';advice'; are pronounced differently. [ad-vahyz] and 鈥?[ad-vahys], respectively.
';kindly advise'; would be correct

advice=noun

advise=verb
You use advise when it has been given as advice. You have advised someone..

So Kindly advice is right.
kindly advise would be correct.

Please be of help fighting this cancer and support our nobel work.

Is it advice or advise?
In the given context, the word advise appears as correct.

If you advise someone to do something, you tell them what you think they should do.Someone who is requesting for support, money etc will like to be told what they should do for furtherance of the cause.

*Is it advice or advise?
advice is a noun, it is something that you'd ask for.

advise is a verb, someone giving you advice would be advising you.
In your example, it should be ADVICE.

We need your advice...

Like the previous answer said, advice is a noun, advise is a verb.

We need you to advise us.
Advice

I would advise you to use advice in this contex.

Is it good English : 'I am unable to provide correct advice or advise you whether...' ?

';I am unable to provide correct advice'; is not good English because the word 'advice' is inconclusive.

You could say either ';I am unable to give advice......';

or ';I am unable to advise you whether........';Is it good English : 'I am unable to provide correct advice or advise you whether...' ?
Looks good - Advice is a noun, Advise is the verb.

A person receives advice but advises someone elseIs it good English : 'I am unable to provide correct advice or advise you whether...' ?
Perfect
advice
yep that's ok!
It's not technically incorrect but it's bad style because it's redundant.
Looks good to me.....
I think a better and simpler phrasing is:

';I am unable to provide you with advice on this matter....';

OR

';I am unable to advise you on this matter....';

Hope this helps!

    before we end our email and we are seeking advices form the counterparty, which 1 should we write?

    Kindly advice or Kindly advise?Before you end the email, what will you write?kindly advice or kindly advise?
    Advice is a noun. You can't use the word 'kindly' to describe 'advice', because kindly is an adverb, describing verbs, not nouns.

    Advise, on the other hand, is a verb, which typically means to give advice. You can use 'kindly advise', because, again, kindly (an adverb) describes verbs, which advise just so happens to be.Before you end the email, what will you write?kindly advice or kindly advise?
    You would answer Kindly advise because advise is a verb and advice is a noun.
    'Advice' is a noun whereas 'advise' is a verb. You want the verb.
    Kindly advise.

    ';I advise you to be more careful.';

    Advice = noun

    Advise = verb

    Advise is the proper term.
    Advice is what's given : Let me give you some advice, sweetie

    Advise is what's doing: I'm going to advise you about that relationship, sweetie...

    If you want my advice, I would advise you find another...
    the word advice is used as a noun or adjective in English grammer and advise is used as a verb.So you must use advise as an verb in sentences for example .: '; he advised me not to do somethig wrong'; 谋f we give an instance the usage of advice as a noun '; Mumy please stop giving advice to me all the time! '; So advice is used here as an noun. You see it is very clear advice can be used as a noun or adj and advise is a verb thats the difference.....
    Advice is something you receive or give-- ';I would like your advice on which movie I should go see.'; Advise (the s is pronounced like a z) is an action word-- ';Would you please advise me on which movie to go see?'; or ';I wouldn't advise you to swim there unless you've had lessons.';
    Advice is a noun, advise is a verb. Use accordingly.

    well, the two words have the same meaning.

    the difference lies in that , advise is a verb while advice is a noun

    '; advise '; is used as a verb e.g. '; The doctor advised him complete bed rest';.

    In the example that you've mentioned -- it's an act of checking %26amp; advising , so it's a verb . You have to use 'advise '.
    Use ';advise'; it is a verb.
    Advise.

    Advise is a verb, advice is the noun.

    If I advise to limit, then there will be a limit. I actually keep advising without ever stopping every time I have the opportunity to. Some People need to be reminded all the time.

    If We consider ourselves as wise persons, them we have to know that with advising, without being a pain in the neck, we would get a result at the end.

    I actually a kind of person who doesn't like to be blamed because I didn't do my duty in a good way. So I prefer keep reminding but without annoying.Do you have a limit on advice or advise to limit?
    For most thingsI do have a limit on advice. I usually can give it three times for the same situation. If they do not follow, it is obvious they do not want to. Then, I wait to be asked. If things are extremely serious I will try harder. In the end it is up to them. Sometimes when you keep insisting, you only make them go away from you. And if it is an important person in your life, you should try to stay near in case they need your help instead of advice.
    We all have our limits but many don't respect or recognize them.
    no, i dont have a limit on the amount of advice i have, i pretty much have suggestions about almost anything! but i do sometimes advise myself to limit my advice, either because i dont wish to bore someone or i am getting bored myself, or i think its best they search within them for ideas, or i just dont want to take responsibility for giving advice,
    Too much advice belittles the asker. Advice should be succinct and pertinent, and always asked for.
    Never a limit on advice. Especially when no one is arguing with me. That's why I like it here.

    I would advise to limit certain things like drinking alcohol and smoking only because it will harm you if it is overdone.
    unlimited even infinity.check what painting I'm I working on tonight?
    Hi,

    To advise 'to limit' would not really be giving advice but trying to control someone's way of thinking and I would never to that. Although we advise, we must also leave everyone free to make their own decisions. We should not limit their outlook, in fact, people should be encouraged to consider their question from all perspectives. The answerer too might learn from reading other people's advice as there are more ways than one to look at a situation.

    Do I have a limit on advice? Only in so far as how capable I am to advise in the one day and depending of course on other commitments and responsibilities. After all we're only human and we have to respect our own limitations.

    Hi.

    Here is the deal:

    advise is a verb and advice is a noun, now you can use it freely and surely that you won't make any more mistakes.

    Take care.Could you please do me a favor and let me know when to use 'advise' or 'advice' in a sentence?
    You advise someone on how to do something. You offer advice.
    The advice given by Ismaboa above is sound. The advice I'm advising you now is one way to use both words in one sentence.
    I advise you to take my advice.

    Advice is a noun, a ';thing'; (though not a physical thing).

    To advise someone is a verb, it's doing something.

    So, when you're talking about the ';stuff';, use the noun, advice; when you're talking about someone giving advice, use the verb, advise.
    Advise is ';to advise someone'; like I am advising you about how to use the words.

    It's pronounced like ';Ad-Vize';

    Why are men advised to be a challenge or play women in men's dating advice books?

    I have read about various tactics that men use on women to try to hook up with a hot woman. They are advised to be a challenge, use disconnectors (like cutting them off on purpose, saying they have to go, saying they don't want to do something, saying they are bored or forgot to call, for exs.) to get a woman's attention, This is necessary because beautiful women are spoiled brats with low frustration tolerance (an actual Psychology term). In other words, they are used to getting what they want, and when they don't they are irritated and will start working harder to get what they want- supposedly the man who is being a challenge. So what do feminists or men who have tried to do this or would not do this think? Does this work, is all this game playing necessary or is it the typical man-woman power struggle?Why are men advised to be a challenge or play women in men's dating advice books?
    Actually, it's usually genuine boredom and a decision to get on to better more important things.

    Women have a habit of reading more into things than is really there.

    If this makes a woman ';work harder'; that's a good thing , maybe she'll be less of a bore next time.

    *** In the past , in an attempt to be polite or chivalrous a guy might sit through a lousy date, but these days ,why should he ?Why are men advised to be a challenge or play women in men's dating advice books?
    ';Men's dating advice books'; are only for that - teaching them some ';time-tested tricks'; that will guarantee ';numerous notches on ones bed post';. If they didnt entice men with such ';promising material';, they may not sell.

    I never had the need to read such books for real advice. For someone whos a natural, books arent needed. Yes some of this game playing does give results, but the depth or longevity of such relationships that needed games to be played are debatable.
    It works on a certain type of women. I don't know exactly what that type is, but I know it's not me. I have a guy friend who treats women like that and he's never without female company. I don't respond to men who act like that, but maybe it's because I know what to expect from them because of how I've seen my friend act.

    I think that if a guy just wants sex then he has a good chance of getting it by playing these games, but meaningful relationships won't workout like that.
    those books are written by fools for fools. Attracting another person is about being yourself, not playing a whole bunch of complex mind games-mostly because everyone has a different personality. Maybe one of the tricks worked on one woman, but ten others may be disgusted with the guy.

    I hate those dating books, and its very obvious when a man or woman has read one and tries to hit on you.
    Those books are written by idiots for idiots.

    I personally love playing complex mind games but only for casual relationships.

    If you *really* want that girl/guy, don't play so much games.
    Its childish to play games and I don't follow other peoples rules. I think it is cruel to mislead someone in the hopes to invade/take advantage of them.
    I guess it's just like women who use ';The Rules'; as a way to attract the attention of men. Many in both sexes use games. I'd rather be honest and be with like minded people.
    No, its because dating books will do anything to get money from those who lack social skills. Women's magazines and books have been doing the same thing to men for ages.
    Well that explains why a lot of ';hot'; women I know connect with losers. It seems that many of the best looking women I know are attracted to men to treat them poorly. Why?
    No, it works. But it only works on weak-minded women. It works on the women as stated that are used to having their way with men, and will do what ever it takes to ensure they continue to have their way. The one鈥檚 who normally use what they鈥檝e got to get what they want. I've seen many of my guy friends use these tactics on some ';hot girls'; successfully. And the idiots just keep coming back for more.

    But most of the men who use these tactics are men who're lonely, and really want some one in their lives, but are afraid of being hurt. They where once hurt by a ';hot girl'; so this is their way of getting all ';hot girls'; back for what that one girl did to them. And the cycle just keep's repeating itself until someone get's tired of playing games and really wants to settle down.

    All in all, when it comes time for someone to really find a mate, they'll get sick of the head games, and the ';play books'; and they'll get serious. Most of these men and women who claim they enjoy the chase get burnt out with it like everyone else. It's not to cool when you go to wash your face in the morning and see a 40 yr old single, with no kids, living at home alone still eating T.V. dinners reflection starting back at you. Everybody wants' someone in their lives, and we all want to be wanted by someone. It's human nature. It's just that many people live an empty life for years before they come to the realization that all those games they played with many hearts (both men and women) only got them nothing but an empty house and a trail of tears (some theirs, and some of the people they鈥檝e hurt).
    All of my relationships have pretty much started out this way. They played these head games with me. In all cases the men became more demanding and controlling. I became more of a people pleaser trying to get him to love me. He would withhold his love to manipulate and control me. needless to say the relationships ended with emotional %26amp; physical abuse. I feel that if a relationship starts out as a power struggle with a fondation of manipulation and control it is doomed to faliure. I see the only way to have a good relationship is through honesty %26amp; trust. Mabey these books are talking about just getting laid and not advice for a real relationship.
    Ill answer the last first. Yes it is necessary, men and women do a dance to attract a mate this just happens to be one of them.

    Does it work? Yes, generally speaking women (men to a lesser degree) are very self conscious and tie far too much of their self worth to their ability to attract and hold a mate. The basic premise is to make the woman feel undesired so she will work hard to be desirable to the man attacking her self worth. If she is successful she will fell better about herself and he will get what he wants.

    Its really true the a$$holes get the hot girls, they just cant keep them. When you are looking for a keeper girl and not just a booty call you will change tactics and be the nice guy because your looking for a smarter more valuable mate who doesnt suffer the self esteem issues that the easy girls do.
    For the same reason that women's dating books also give advice about trying to hook up with a man by disrespecting him, ignoring phone calls, and somehow using their psychology against them.

    None of these dating books offer advice for building meaningful relationships and connecting with people, but trying to gain their interest in ways that show complete lack of respect for the other person. They certainly encourage both men and women to engage in power-struggles which are completely detrimental to building a healthy relationship with them. If both are playing hard-to-get, who does the chasing anyway?

    I would ignore all of them. It's more useful to try and be open and honest with the person about your intentions, respect their boundaries and refrain from witholding affection on the basis of maintaining an elusive upper-hand in the situation.

    These books don't teach you anything unless you're trying to get into someone's pants, and even then, I'm not sure why I would jump into someone's pants if they ignored me and made excuses about it constantly.

    Maintaining a healthy challenge by not being too available to the person because you're leading your own life is one thing, but deliberately pushing them away to get their attention is not only disrespectful to the other person, but it's a punishment for yourself too.
    If women, even the spoiled ones are up on game, these tactics do not work. I went to see this FINE attractive guy at his place of work. He focused 95% of his attention on my lil cousin who was visting from out the country (she's 8). For a min I thought hey.. as he embrassed me long n close at the end.... HOWEVER I remembered hearing about the tactic of in a sense dissing the girl by not giving her attention, thus my feelings were not hurt and I was able to not get drawn in. Haha. Guys are so lame to stoop so low to using tactics. LOSER! lol. As fine as he was......

    tHUMBS DOWN? Okay, wutever....be thinkin guys dont use skills/tactics to get a girl.

    Well going back and reading what he said you should look at upgrading to 1G of ram. That should take care of your problemI done as sewrobb advised but my laptop is still showing ram is low have you or him any more advice?
    I saw your original question about low RAM and although you did get good advice I am always very wary of people who don't know much about computers going into advanced settings and having a fiddle. In fact I even get alarmed at the number of people on this forum who seem to think formatting, partitioning and reinstalling is something that should be done without thinking instead of finding other solutions,

    In your case, I am assuming you are running a lot of programs, possibly multi media, games etc and I am sure your problem would be easily solved if you just take your laptop into PC World so they can see what RAM you have and so you buy the right type to top it up. I would suggest you need a minimum of 2gb these days. They will also fit it in for you if you do not know how.

    Need advice or opinions on children going to chiropractor. Am being advised by chiropractor against immunizing

    children aged 4 and 2. I am being told that this will help fight diseases and was given brochures against immunizing them. Won't this affect bone growth? Is this no immunization stuff for real? I would like to hear pro and con info.Need advice or opinions on children going to chiropractor. Am being advised by chiropractor against immunizing
    If you research the specific diseases - even using the cdc.gov websites, you will see that many of the vaccines we recieve are simply not necessary. Beyond the sexually transmitted diseases, some are very mild (measles, mumps, chicken pox) and some have been eradicated (polio).

    Additionally, there are many harmful agents in vaccines - formaldyhyde, aluminum, cells from aborted fetuses.

    No one can tell you whether or not to vaccinate, that is your call. But you must do your research! Don't just blindly stick a needle in your little ones without knowing what you are vaccinating for, the contraindications (some vaccines are contraindicated for those w/ eczema, asthma, egg or latex allergies, for example), and the potential side effects... there are lots of side effects, from fevers, crying, seizures, even death.

    In the US, 48 states allow for exemption of vaccinations for school/daycare entry. You can secure an exemption based on either religious or philosophical reasons, typically very easily.Need advice or opinions on children going to chiropractor. Am being advised by chiropractor against immunizing
    I have three children- all of whom have been immunized. I not only think that they should be immunized, but i suggest it highly, especially if they plan on going to public schools. With the ever changing face of this country- peopel coming from areas where immunizations dont happen, there are lots of diseases that are making nasty comebacks in todays societies. heck even the flu is killing people!

    I took my youngest to the chiropractor from the time he was born until he turned two because his spine was curved. His doctor suggested against them but said it was in the end up to parents.

    Hoping and wishing wont keep your kids healthy.

    I think that there are great benefits to children going to the chiropractor. It doesnt stunt their growth from what i have seen. When the baby was little, it helped taking him to the chiroprator becuase they showed me techniques to help soothe him when he was irritable and it really helped.

    I would have to say though as a parent I would be skeptical if someone were to tell me what i SHOULD do. I would say talk it over with your pediatrician.

    There are pros and cons to having them done, but the rewards greatly outweigh the risks.

    In the end you have to decide what would be best for your children. The immunizations only lessen the effects of some diseases or illnesses.
    First of all, the science behind chiropractic is very thin. Yes, chiropractors do help many people, but their adversity to immunizations is harmful. The rationale for immunizations is founded on rigorous scientific study in fields as diverse as immunology and epidemiology. Remember, most people who come down with most diseases recover, even if given no treatment. However, many victims of disease die or have permanent disabilities. Polio resulted in 20,000 cases of paralysis or death every year in the USA prior to the polio vaccine. Your grandmother might tell you ';we all had measles when I was a child!'; She forgot how sick the children were. It's a terrible disease. You can make a good case for all the other immunizations like diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, chicken pox, Hib, rubella, mumps, and so on.

    Yes, many persons avoided or survived the above diseases, but there are also many relatives mourning those lost to preventable diseases, too.

    No vaccine is entirely perfect. The brochures you were given discuss the possible side effects. If you are concerned, ask your doctor for more information.
    The pros are this, if you get your child immunized against certain diseases you child has a greater likelyhood of not aquiring them. For instance if you give your child the MMR they will most likely not aquire measles and since measles and mumps are life threatening your child will most likely not die from them. Chiropractors are good as long as they stay within their own scope of practice which is manipulating the musculoskeletal system. Measles does not originate from the bones therefore no matter how much you adjust your bones you will not prevent or cure measles. On the down side there are studies that have linked a higher instance of other diseases with immunization. Such as autism and even aquiring the infection that you were trying to prevent from the immunization. Aquiring the disease you are trying to prevent from the immunization itself is very rare. Also by not immunizing your child you are relying on other people to be immunized themselves so as not to spread the disease to your child. There is also some evidence to link the HIV epidemic in Africa with tainted polio immunizations. It comes down to this question...Are you willing to take the risks vs benefit ratio. And if you are not are you willing to depend on others to vaccinate their children so yours won't get sick?
    Studies have been done for many years and their is no proof that immunization harms them in any way. But it could help them. You children need their immunization against Tetnus(can cause lockjaw) mumps (can cause sterility in boys that get it) There are so many really nasty germs out there. Please give them their shots
    How do you plan on getting your children into school? They require them.

    I am starting to have concerns about may immunizations.

    I would get a second opinion. I have seen chiropractic work help with children that had posture and walking problems but not for things you are describing.
    Don't immunize them. I have an aunt who hasn't been immunized and she's been fine her whole life and she's 93 yrs. old. Don't take them to a chiro. that young though. Their bones aren't done growing and it might cause damage.

    You can start with your congressman and/or senator. If they are on the armed services committee, then they may be able to do something for him.

    I can tell that you have a lot of admiration and faith in this former soldier. Unfortunately for you, the army is very strick on drugs and DWIs. They are career killers and every soldier knows this through periodic training and examples of other soldiers getting caught. It is a mistake that I am sure he has learned from, but it is not something the Army usually gives you a second chance on. Drugs and DWI are one strike and you are out.

    Again, I know that you have a lot of faith and admiration for your nephew, but a congressman or senator would be putting a lot on the line to stand up for him. Nothing hurts by trying, but I would not be too optimistic.

    Good Luck!I truly need advice about writing a congressional letter...meaning..if it's necessary or not.....pleae advise
    as an ARMY recruiter i can tell you that he most likely has an RE CODE 4. if thats the case or he has a seperation code that is equally as bad. then you can write letters to whomever you want but it wont change a thing. your nephew knew at the time he was doing the drugs that it was wrong but decided to roll the dice anyway. this is exactly the type of person that i DONT want in my ARMY. and it is mine!
    In order to get back in the military he would have to have his discharge upgraded.

    This is something that is _very_ rare for this kind of situation because the discharge code was given as a punishment for misconduct.

    In general, a Congressional Inquiry will be a waste of time because the Congressman will be informed that the discharge was properly awarded in accordance with US laws and Army regulations.
    now was it general,honorable, or general with honorable conditions?....because a general honorable doesnt exist....and quite frankly on leave or not most times they give a dishonorable when drugs are involved, hes lucky to have gotten a discharge that allows him the ability to get a civilian job.....he should cut his losses grow up and move on. you can write letters to your congressman etc but i seriously doubt they will reinstate him sorry to say.
    I would love to give you some good news but in truth there isn't any. Except that he hopefully learned something from this event. You could try to get his discharge up graded but the time frame and chances of that happening are very slim.

    Let him know he made a mistake, now start a different life without the military!
    Well he should of refuted the discharge when he had the chance to do so. It sounds like his discharge could have been alot worse. It's a shame and I understand people make mistakes, but the military is constantly looking for scape goats and I'm sorry to hear it was your nephew. I would say it is a hopeless effort, but what else do you have to loose. Good Luck

    Do you really mean that he broke regulations, should have known better, but shouldn't have to pay the consequences? With the training you indicate, he should not only get kicked out, but pay back for the training he underwent.

    Examples of poor judgment: get drunk, drive a car, hit and kill someone, face judgment and hope a relative thinks you are better than than and writes to say everything is unfair.

    My friend bought a BRAND NEW truck while stationed at Fort Hood. He gave a ride to his buddy to pick up a pound of Maryjane. Texas State police bust them, and as state by law, Texas confiscated his brand new, haven't made my first payment truck, which he still has to pay off. Poor judgment.

    Sorry, I raving... I guess life is really unfair, isn't it?

    I would move first. I live in the US and we have restraining orders. I don't know about Ireland but would love to go some day. I hope this works out for you. It sounds bad all around. If you do have restraining orders call the police every time she comes around you after you obtain one. Good Luck and God bless!

    Just act natural.

    He blew me off, any advice or ideas? I need some advise..?

    I've been dating this guy for a month and things have been pretty good between us, I really can't complain about anything. Anyway last week he told me about a houseparty that he was going to and he asked me if I wanted to come with, which of course I said yes lol. Anyway he also mentioned that one of his coworkers was going on vacations and that they were going to throw her a going away party at a club. I knew I couldnt go because its 21 plus and I am 20 : ( . The houseparty was friday and the club was on Saturday. He ended up texting me friday saying that he had messed up the dates and he never replied back to my last text message so I didnt see him friday, then on saturday I sent him a message to see what's up and he never texted me back until yesterday. I was pretty pissed off. I felt like he left me hanging and didnt even bother to reply back. He could of at least just say that this weekend wasnt going to work and that he will see me some other time right? He called and I ignored his call, he sent me 3 text messages and asked if I was mad and then he said that he was sorry. I've decided I am not going to text him today and I am going to wait until he does but even if he does I am not going to reply back or anything. That way he will know that I am not going to be putting up with that shi* and if he really wants to be with me, he's going to at least try to talk to me again. If he doesnt text me or call I wont either. I think I already came to the conclusion that he fucke* it up and things at this point wont be the same. He was probably partying all weekend and didnt even care. Any advice or ideas?He blew me off, any advice or ideas? I need some advise..?
    uhmm, if i was u id ignore him for like 2 weeks. if he really wants u hell still chase for you. and try to get you. theguy sounds like kind of a selfish asshole i have been treated like this oh yes i have. but it resulted in me cheating on him and finding someone better because he was ditching me every weekend. so he had to deal with the pain and that was revenge enough for me. sounds like hes being a douche.....id ignore him..if he texts ..say tat ur going out with ur friends...that ur kinda busy but maybe next weekend u wanna hang out. screw with him a little! itll work..otherwise just toe punt him, guys that dont treat u right aint worth it.He blew me off, any advice or ideas? I need some advise..?
    only dating a month? you are a little out of line. i know that the whole didn't text back is not cool. you have a little right to be mad. however, you have to allow this guy to have some freedom. if must think you are CRAZY. he got the days mixed up (maybe) but was probably out with his friends who were telling him things like ';she is crazy dude, dont answer'; and ';whoa, don't bring her'; and ';no girls';. give him another chance.

    Im 15& 8 weeks pregnant I need advice abortion or adoption is not an option advise plz?

    my mom hates my bf if she finds out we are still together she will flip how do I tell herIm 15%26amp; 8 weeks pregnant I need advice abortion or adoption is not an option advise plz?
    Time to grow up and be an adult and just tell her like it is. Start looking for a place for you, the bf, and the baby to live because she will most likely kick you out. If you are younger then 18 then you might need to talk to a relative about staying with them for a while.

    Sorry about your situation.Im 15%26amp; 8 weeks pregnant I need advice abortion or adoption is not an option advise plz?
    Ok, you will need to tell her at some point. If I were you, and I'm not, but I would wait until I was 12 weeks so they wouldn't try to force me to have an abortion (since you said you definately don't want one). Eat right in the mean time and take your vitamins (a lot of doctors won't see you until week 12 anyway, and they just tell you the same - take your vitamins and see you then. At that point sit down with the boyfriend and parents and say this has happened and just let it take it's course. If you do it in a mature way, you may score some points with your parents. Be prepared though. They will be MAD. You are after all, only 15.

    Malia - CHILL OUT. It's done. Over with. She's pregnant. What is your bitchin about it going to do? she said abortion is out of the question so SHAME ON YOU for getting on her case over it.
    First, get some pre-natal vitamins. You need them to help keep your child healthy and prevents birth defects. Secondly, please stay out of smoky environments and if you smoke or drink stop. This not only harms you, but your unborn child. Third, you need to sit your mom down and just be honest (Maybe you should have a place you can go for the night just in case she kicks you out). There really isn't any more you can do but that. It's not like you can hide it for long.

    I know you're in a really tough spot right now and you must be feeling really anxious. I'm sorry about that. As you said, abortion or adoption is not an option, and I commend you on that. You are making a very hard decision, but one that will be rewarding in the end. I got pregnant at 17 and not in HS, not quite the same as you, but still difficult. I was also in a relationship with a man my mother didn't care for, but she didn't really have a choice...it was her granchild I was carrying. Remember that this isn't only hard on you two, but it will be hard for both of your parents. They, I hope, care about you guys and will come around and support you. If your mom kicks you out there are places that you can go to get help especially if you're in a big city. There is a place (can't remember where) called Mercy Ministries that takes in young mothers or I'm sure would be able to locate a place near you if you ever needed help. They don't charge you anything except to help out around the house. I know someone that went there and it changed their life forever. One more thing, please try as hard as you can to stay in school. I know it will be hard, but it's important for your future. I will pray for you and if you ever need anything add me as a contact and send me a message...I have a lot of life experiences that I have come through...and most of them weren't easy. Be blessed.
    you just have to tell her. the longer you wait, the worse it will be. and you cant hide it from her for that long anyways, she will know with the symptoms. frequent urination, increase in eating habits, and adding a few pounds.

    and eventually she will have to accept it. that also means you need to step up if you are keeping the baby.
    I had a friend that found out she was pregnant when she was 16. She knew that her mom was going to have a cow too. But she did tell her, her mom cried, but she got the med attention she needed. Yes, you should be more careful and all these people are going to look down on you. Blah blah blah. Everythings happens for a reason, and whatever that reason is, it will work out. But you do have to tell your mom, soon.
    wow that very strong of u not to put the baby up for adoption or to get a horrible abortion. there are home where u can go and stay and they provide for u and ur baby even after ur babys is born ur still going to school wich is just awsome! and get a phone book or seach on the web for girls home for pregnet tenns around u live and in tell then maybe go to a friends house stay a few days weeks whatever with her.it will be ok u are very mature ill pray for you and i hope you get the help u need
    You need to tell your mother. She will find out anyway. Adoption is the only option or keeping your baby. No need to kill an innocent baby. You had sex and now you have a baby to take care of or put up for adoption. If you think you are responsible enough to have sex then you need to stand up and be responsible for the life you have created.

    Tell her you made a mistake. Be honest with her.
    you really need to tell her my friend was pregnant and she waited until she was 5 months to tell and wen she went to the doctors they called her back in and had to induce her labor cuz her son had a complication and well it was very sad becuz he died after being alive for 8 minutes so plz tell ur mom i dont want anything bad to happen to u or ur baby ... if u want to tlk just e mail me at dramaqueencjb@yahoo.com :)
    You only have three choices sweetie

    Parenting

    Adoption

    Abortion

    If you are to young to even get a job, aren't you too young to be a mom. A good mother makes sure that she can support her children. How will you support this pregnancy and subsequent baby? You do know that having a baby will jack up your 4.0 at school? Think about this well and decide if you want your childhood and teenage yrs to end right now. Are you ready for a crash course into the adult world? Are you ready to drop out of school to stand in a welfare line?

    Rethink this . . . .

    If you need it . . . .

    If you go to a Planned Parenthood clinic that has a low-income program it can be as cheap as 100$. If you tells them you have no job, no money and no support they will likely have you pay the minimum for the procedure and get donations to cover the rest. 1-800-230-PLAN (1-800-230-7526) to find the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you.

    You have the choice between the pill (which can be taken up to 11weeks, at home or at a friends house) or the vacuum method (in clinic procedure). Personally I used the pill method so I could be at home with my husband but some women want to have the surgical, so it's done and over with when they leave the clinic.

    If you are underage you may want to check this site out to see about parental consent laws and whatnot. http://www.sexetc.org/state Even if it says you need parental consent, you don't. Call PP and tell them you cannot tell your parents; by law, a judicial bypass must be available to those minors who just cannot get their parents/guardians permission. A judge signs the parental consent acting as a de facto guardian.

    I respect that it is your choice and understand that you are probably doing what's best for you. If you want/need to talk about it drop me an email.

    It is entirely possible to have an abortion and not feel guilt because you knew it was the right thing to do.

    I mean it will be hard but You NEED to tell your mom. You need regular prenatal care for you and your baby. Good Luck!

    Visit my website - www.belliesbibsnbottles.weebly.com
    well that's the father of your child. it shouldn't matter if she hates him or not. just let her know that he plans on being there for the baby and it would mean a lot to you if you had his support. i hope i helped.
    Adoption IS an option.

    You are a child. You should NOT be having sex for Pete's sake! Didn't you think this could happen?

    Shame on you for thinking of murdering your unborn BABY.
    you're right....abortion is NOT the solution...............your mom will be mad at first......whose mom wouldn't be if her 15 yrs old child is pregnant.....but she will come around cuz it is her grandchild and she will want the best for you and the baby...........
    hello you have more things to worry about then how your moms gonna react because your still with your bf!......how about ';hey mom im pregnant!!! and i dont know what to do!!!';
    Just come out and say it, there is no other way. you need medical atention and besides she is goign to notice sooner or later..

    Please advise need advice Suicide or Murder?

    Ok so this may seem like it is out of a lifetime movie. My uncle dies July 2nd of this year they say he commited suicide by shooting himself in the head. My uncle was seperated from his wife for 3 years. She did not want anything to do with him at all My uncle came to Florida and vacationed for 6 days he was not depressed only stating that he didnt care if it took him two months or two years he was going to divorce his wife and move from where he was at. He went home on the 1st and on the second he was dead. His wife text messaged him calling him names blah blah finally he told her to f off.he calls me and said he felt really good about what he had done he finally stood up to her and he was proud that was at 5 by 9 the police says he was dead. Now here is the thing his wife text messaged him and he was responding at 700pm she left off the mountain they live in a very rural area of NC she said she came home at 9 text messaged him at 9:01 pm he did not respond she went to sleep.the next morning she called her friend the deputy on his cell phone whom she is said to be having an affair with and said go check on Jon he did and he found him dead. Now she didnt hear form him and never sen another text and they were not on speaking terms why would you do that? we went to the funeral and she would not look any of his family in the eyes it was a funeral over the top a police escort (same cop) she played it up and it seemed like it was so staged they have 3 girls who were his life he would never leave them like that i watched her and the only time she cried was when people came up to her they walked away and she smiled. we have no closure we had no role in his funeral no police reports nothing and she is getting 1.5 million dollars. I called the police stationa nd asked for a report they said only his next of kin had access but they were legally seperated is there anything i can do? please helpPlease advise need advice Suicide or Murder?
    I'm very sorry for your loss. Was there a weapon left at the scene? Did the investigators check for gunshot residue on your uncle's hands? Did they determine if he was shot at point blank range or from a distance? Police reports become public once they are completed.

    They may not have been on speaking terms, but it's obvious they were communicating before the incident, so the texts don't seem out of the ordinary. I can also understand why she wouldn't look anyone in the eye at the funeral. She probably thinks everyone partially blames her for his death.Please advise need advice Suicide or Murder?
    Sounds like you need a private investigator.
    That is fishy about the texts. I'd hound the cops.

    What i want to do is get better over this summer especially with getting to notes faster and reading my rhythms better.

    Any advice like free online websites or a recommended book?

    I have both a standing bass and a bass guitarANY standing bass advise or bass guitar advice?
    I'm a beginning bassist too! For books, I recommend anything about bass method, and also keep in mind that music takes a lot of counting and understanding of patterns.Get down your first position notes first, and then try some second third and fourth position stuff. Just take it slow, and practice a little each day. Also get get song-books by your favorite bands so that you have something to aspire to. :D

  • Is 'Please advise' grammatically correct, or is it 'Please advice'?

    I've always used 'Please advise' in business communications, and I've noticed recently that MS Office products mark it as grammatically incorrect. The suggested change is from advise to advice.

    'Please advice' just doesn't sound right to me. I've done some internet research, but couldn't seem to find a definitive answer...

    Thanks in advance :)Is 'Please advise' grammatically correct, or is it 'Please advice'?
    think of it this way....an advisor is someone who gives advice. Advise is the verb, that is the act that you are requesting....';Please advise me';. Advice is the noun, that information that is given. You're doing it right, screw MS Office, that was created by computer geeks, not English majors.Is 'Please advise' grammatically correct, or is it 'Please advice'?
    ';Please advise'; may not be grammatically correct per se, but it is such a widely used and well known phrase in business and other areas that it is acceptable.
    ';Please give me your advice.';

    When asking my boss to advice on something which sentence is right from the above?When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?

    The correct form is ';kindly advise.';

    ';kindly advise'; would be correct

    advice=noun

    advise=verb
    You use advise when it has been given as advice. You have advised someone..

    So Kindly advice is right.
    kindly advise would be correct.

    We need your advise!

    We not only ask money but also in particular advise, support, use of facilities, manpower hours and commitment of your companies name.

    You could say either ';I am unable to give advice......';

    or ';I am unable to advise you whether........';Is it good English : 'I am unable to provide correct advice or advise you whether...' ?
    Looks good - Advice is a noun, Advise is the verb.

    A person receives advice but advises someone elseIs it good English : 'I am unable to provide correct advice or advise you whether...' ?
    Perfect
    advice
    yep that's ok!
    It's not technically incorrect but it's bad style because it's redundant.
    Looks good to me.....
    I think a better and simpler phrasing is:

    ';I am unable to provide you with advice on this matter....';

    OR

    ';I am unable to advise you on this matter....';

    When you want to give someone a suggestion or a thought you give your advice. It may not always be good advice though.

    ';Let me give you some good advice.';

    When you want to warn someone to not do something then you advise them not to do it.

    ';I advise you to be more careful.';
    Advice is recieved from another, as in 'Thanks for the advice', while we advise another, as in 'I'd advise you not to drink that, it's terrible!'

    Advise is the proper term.
    Advice is what's given : Let me give you some advice, sweetie

    I need some advice, please?

    Advise is what's doing: I'm going to advise you about that relationship, sweetie...

    If you want my advice, I would advise you find another...
    the word advice is used as a noun or adjective in English grammer and advise is used as a verb.So you must use advise as an verb in sentences for example .: '; he advised me not to do somethig wrong'; 谋f we give an instance the usage of advice as a noun '; Mumy please stop giving advice to me all the time! '; So advice is used here as an noun. You see it is very clear advice can be used as a noun or adj and advise is a verb thats the difference.....
    Advice is something you receive or give-- ';I would like your advice on which movie I should go see.'; Advise (the s is pronounced like a z) is an action word-- ';Would you please advise me on which movie to go see?'; or ';I wouldn't advise you to swim there unless you've had lessons.';
    Advice is a noun, advise is a verb. Use accordingly.

    What will i use? ';advise? or advice?';?

    What will i use for this sentence:

    '; Kindly check and advice us as soon as possible. ';

    please help, im quite confused.

    thanks a lot. :)What will i use? ';advise? or advice?';?
    Advise.

    Advise is a verb, advice is the noun.What will i use? ';advise? or advice?';?
    '; advise '; is used as a verb e.g. '; The doctor advised him complete bed rest';.

    '; advice '; is used as a noun e.g. ';The doctor's advice is to take rest';.

    Another example ';practise / practice ';

    In the example that you've mentioned -- it's an act of checking %26amp; advising , so it's a verb . You have to use 'advise '.
    well, the two words have the same meaning.

    the difference lies in that , advise is a verb while advice is a noun

    in your sentence you need a verb , therefor ';ADVISE';
    Use ';advise'; it is a verb.

    Do you have a limit on advice or advise to limit?

    Oh, how I wish I had a limit....its like someone winds me up and I just go on and on and on, ad nauseaum....Blaa..blaa...blaa... ';I've started talking and I can't shut up';....maybe that is born of having a pesky teenage Boy....or our psycho babble society...or could be those 3 or 4 episodes of Dr. Phil that I saw...well anyway, I am going to get a 3 minute ';hour glass type'; timer and that will be my LIMIT!!!!.....then I can get back to the important stuff like being silly, giggling, laughing and having fun.....Do you have a limit on advice or advise to limit?

    I am not american but my boss is american and every time I send him an email I hesitate about that word.

    Thank youCould you please do me a favor and let me know when to use 'advise' or 'advice' in a sentence?

    It's pronounced like ';Ad-Vize';

    Advice is the actual content of say; this answer. It is the instruction that you are giving when you ';advise someone.';

    Pronounced as it is written. With the 'vice' like 'ice.'
